State Convention & Midwinter Conference
State Convention

— What is it
Idaho State Convention is an opportunity for all the local Aeries of the State of Idaho to get together and discuss local aerie issues and find issues, collaborate on topics affecting the state, compete at ritual competitions, fundraise for charities, elect new state officers, and expand the brotherhood of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

— When is it
State Convention is typically in June of every year. More specifically it is typically the third week in June but the date may be changed from year due to hosting conflicts by the host aerie. The state convention is typically a 4 day event.

— Where is it
The location of State Convention changes from year to year. Traditionally the location alternates from North Idaho to South Idaho year to year. Local Aeries put in bids to the state aerie to host state convention. These bids are evaluated and then convention locations are selected two years in advance.

— What do you do at it
State convention is a fun opportunity to learn more about the fraternal order of eagles. During State Convention, there are ritual competitions, meetings, social gatherings, and banquets. Participants and delegates enjoy fun activities and conduct business of the State Aerie.

— Who Can Attend
Any Fraternal Order of Eagles member in good standing can attend a State Convention. Typically, every local aerie sends delegates and participants to the state convention.

— What can I expect
If you are member and have never attend a State Convention you can expect a fun time, brotherhood, and meetings. Make sure you bring an open and fun attitude to State Convention. The State Convention is what you make of it, be open and introduce yourself. We can’t wait to see you there!
Mid-Winter Conference

— What is it
Idaho State Mid-Winter Conference is a gathering of all the local aeries to conduct business of the State Aerie and determine grants that the State Aerie is going to give out. Its an opportunity to catch up with other members of the other local aeries in the State of Idaho.

— When is it
Mid-Winter Conference is the first weekend in November. Most participants go to the host Aerie on Friday and come home on Sunday.

— Where is it
The location of the Mid-Winter conference changes from year to year. Local Aeries submit bids to host the Mid-Winter conference. The state aerie selects the location of the mid-winter conference.

— What do you do at it
Mid-Winter Conference is an opportunity for the State of Idaho Aerie to conduct business, review grants, and select charitable grants. At the conference participants will socialize and catch-up with other local aerie members.

— Who Can Attend
Any Fraternal Order of Eagles member in good standing can attend the Mid-Winter Conference. Typically, every local aerie sends delegates and participants to the conference.
06.
— What can I expect
Mid-Winter conference is a less formal version of State Convention. You can expect a fun time meeting other eagle members and deciding which charities we should give money to. Mid-Winter is a fun time filled with brotherhood and excitement.
